The look&feel of your admin website is pretty strange and those 404 errors in the browser console look like something is wrong in your configuration. Can you check if the constant URL_ROOT in your /lib/config.php is set correctly to the relative URL of your server installation?
About the saving issue please apply the small workaround found at here, I'm working on a new update with some optimizations to the admin website where this issue is fixed.
