struggling with live server

im a noob, my apologies.

so im trying to make a live sever,

i import the combu install zip, extract it,

im able to access the setup php, i can use the config page and update it,

when i try to click in to the setup database i get a white/blank screen,

it works fine in xampp local host, so i use local host with same config file to generate database sql,

databases all set up everything seems to be right,

mysite/combu/admin returns white/blank screen

im not all setings are default in config, except

databasename,user, pass, i have tried sql with local host and site ip

any help would be great
